John represents Wainbody Ward. He has previously served as Lord Mayor between 2018-19 and Leader of the Conservative Group between 2013-17. He previously served as Cabinet Member for Children, Learning and Young People between 2004 - 2010 while the Conservatives were in control of Coventry City Council.
