About us

"I joined the Party because I am interested in how decisions affect my community. The social side of being involved is excellent - I've been able to meet like-minded people of all ages and backgrounds!" (Mrs N Ubani, Binley.)

The City of Coventry Conservative Association has its offices in Stoke Park from where it administers the work of the Party in the city.

This includes providing a campaign centre for Parliamentary candidates during election time, servicing the needs of our party members in Coventry, working to secure the election of City Councillors and organising the numerous events that are carried out by the Association and its branches every year.

In addition, the Association organises, through a number of clubs such as the 200 Club, Conservative Women's Organisation and Conservative Future a varied programme of political and social events for all ages throughout the year with a variety of interesting guest speakers. In recent years, the Association has hosted speakers such as Rt. Hon. Michael Howard QC (former MP, Home Secretary and Leader of the Conservative Party), Rt. Hon. Caroline Spelman MP (Secretary of State for DEFRA), Malcolm Harbour MEP, Rt. Hon. Dominic Grieve QC MP (Attorney General), Rt. Hon. Eric Pickles MP (Secretary of State for Communities), Rt. Hon. Francis Maude MP (Cabinet Office Minister) to name a few.
