Coventry City Council operates a Leader and Cabinet governance structure, a similar structure to the set up of central Government. In Coventry, Conservatives form the main Opposition. It is our job to hold the Administration to account and to promote our own policies for Coventry.

The Leader of the Opposition is Councillor Kevin Foster and the Deputy Leader is Councillor John Blundell. Kevin is the Shadow Cabinet Member for Policy. Leadership and Governance whilst John is the Shadow Cabinet Member for Strategic Finance and Resources. The rest of the Shadow Cabinet is made up of:
