Coventry CF is made up of members from the City of Coventry, Coventry University and Warwick University. It was established in 1997, and has grown steadily due to the hard work and dedication of its members.
Over the past two years, we have had a number of very successful events, which have ranged greatly. We have had a visit from The Right Honourable Michael Howard MP, campaigned in by-elections like Crewe & Nantwich, Henley and Norwich North, campaigned in the local elections and hosted less formal events. These have included tickets to see the local rugby team play, tickets to the Ideal Home Show, tickets to the Lord Mayor's Ball, a trip around the Council House, a Christmas party, several drinks evenings, and many other things. There is also a large fundraiser each year. In the past these fundraisers have included a Wine Tasting evening and an evening with The Right Honourable Francis Maude MP.
Below are the things some of the current Coventry members like about CF:
"I feel that CF gives young Conservatives the backing and opportunity within the community to really make a difference for the better!" Josh, 17
“Membership of CF has many advantages, be it the chance to make a difference in campaigns, the frequent social events, or even as a stepping stone for a future within the party.” Charles, 21
“CF is good because it allows you to get involved in politics at any level that interests you, whether it’s leafleting to help in the local elections or going to national events. It’s also a good place to meet other party members and find out what’s going on in the association.” Mimi, 29
It's about time we got a new Government with new ideas and a fresh take.
It's about time we got a Conservative Government.
